The Struggle of Packing Books and Emotions

Son,” Go and pack your books”. “ I will do it tomorrow”.

“Why so? You will forget something”

“No! I won’t”

I wish this is true but it’s not. My son consistently leaves his homework books at home.

When he gets to school he exclaims’ “ooh dear I forgot my Maths Homework book”

So he gets punished.

I am trying to find out why he goes through this trouble.

He explains, “I understand the stakes. I understand I will forget something but I just can’t pack my books in the Night. I just can’t”

But … We are in a rush in the morning. We have limited time. We all wake up late. As a result, we are squeezed for time. Why not pack your books at Night?

The answer is still … Nope!

Interesting how our emotions override our logical minds
