It’s 1989. We don’t have DSTV – Cable TV – yet. There is no YouTube or the internet. We only have one channel on the Television – GTV.
At 7:00 pm we all gather and watch the 7 O’clock news. That’s all the TV we have.
Across the Atlantic in the USA, Yo! MTV Rap is booming in the USA. It is fresh. It is trendy.
To watch video clips, I have to wait for a year. The music videos are received during the summer of the current year. I get new videos the next year in the summertime. That’s it.
Patience – that is how life was without 24-hour Cable news and the Internet.
