It’s November 1989. My mum is dressing me up. I am going to a birthday party of my cousin with my sister. I wear Marks and Spencer trousers with my brown Khaki pants. We walk to our cousin’s house for the party.
We are served some drinks. We eat lunch. There is a call for a dancing competition. I enter the dancing competition.
I do some Micheal Jackson moves. I am awarded the second place. My price is a red Ferrari toy car. It was the first time I had owned a toy car. It was beautiful. it was colorful. It was unique.
I loved that car. I still do. I am always grateful to that auntie.
