I’m driving my car from work. I see two male sheep fighting for a female sheep.
The two male sheep are head-butting each other. So for a good collision, they need to move backwards a good distance. Then run forward with speed to head-butt each other.
One male sheep in creating distance for the head collision enters the road. The sheep is in the middle of the road. Cars are swerving around the male sheep. The sheep doesn’t notice this. All the sheep seem to think about is eliminating the other male sheep.
The price of procreation seems to supersede his preservation of life.
