Rosary at 30,000 Feet: Battling Fear on Air

I am on a plane flight abroad. I am sitting next to a man. He is holding out his rosary and praying.

I can’t help but think of this act as interesting.

This man is afraid of flying. So he comforts himself on the flight. He calms his nerves with his rosary.

Why should he place himself in such discomfort for 60 minutes?

Because life rewards actions, not fears.

He has to get on with it.
