I am sitting in my doctor’s office. I am explaining to the doctor that when I inhale dust I find it difficult to breathe. It is almost as if the air going inside my lungs feels reduced. She gets me to take a series of tests. I have been diagnosed with an extreme allergy to dust. Yep, I have a mild form of Asthma.
I am given my medications. Two puffs in the morning before I get exposed to dust. Two puffs in the evening before sleeping.
I get home and I put the medication in my drawer.
I plan to use running to relieve my Asthma. So for the next 365 days, I run every day for a minimum of 30 minutes.
What will be your guess? Did running resolve my Asthma?
NOPE!
What a waste of time! What a bad idea!
When you are not well, just take your medication.
