From Garden to Table: Navigating the Joys of Subsistence Living in 1986

It’s 1986. My Dad has a farm in the house. We grow our food. We rear sheep and Chicken.

When my mother is cooking she goes out to the garden to pick garden eggs and Spinach.

We eat mainly eggs from the Chicken. My sisters do the harvesting of eggs every morning.

We were practically living a subsistence life.
