My kids are 6 and 8 years old. I have always had private tuition for them at home.
It is to supplement their formal tuition. The challenge is their performance is still weak in school.
I sack their current home teachers. It is now 2 months I can’t a new home teacher for the kids.
I have no choice but to do homework. I discovered my kids are behind on so many little things.
I decided to ask a simple question every day.
What did you not understand in school today?
I am not interested in what they were taught in general
I am not interested in what they understand.
I am not interested in teaching the whole topic.
I am only interested in what they DIDN’T understand.
So we started tackling one subject at a time.
By the next semester, all my kids were part of the top 3 students in their class.
