Facebook has made it very easy for a business page to gather followers or an audience who are interested in their product and services.
To begin the process you start with creating a Facebook business page. You would want to place some content on your business page. This will make your Facebook business page look more established before you pull in your new visitors.
The next step involves setting up a new Facebook ads Campaign for your business page. On your phone open the ads manager and click on the green button on the top right. As shown below:
You would then be directed to this page to choose your campaign’s objective. Choose the Page Like campaign objective.
You are set. The next bit left to do is set an image and write your ad copy.

You must select the appropriate interest that fits your services or products. For my Facebook page – Ben Appiah-Poku, my target audience is entrepreneurs. This is the interest group I choose.
In terms of the demographics because this is a like campaign you can start as low as 18 -65+ years.

How much per day and how long it runs will depend on your target amount of audience. How quickly you get followers will depend on the daily budget you spend. On average I achieved around 5000 followers/page likes for $100.00. Yours will be different depending on the interest-targeted and how wide the target area is.

Getting more followers for your Facebook business page is not that difficult an issue on Facebook. It is as easy as setting up the right campaign and having a credit card. Having a profitable audience that converts into sales is a different matter on its own. We will cover it in another post.
