I lace on my Basketball trainers. I am at my front gate waiting for my friend to pick me up. We are on our way to a friend’s house. We are going for a weekly basketball game. My friend – God bless his Dad – has a big Basketball court set up in the house.
At 3:30 pm, when the sun is cooling off. We start a game of 2 on 2 on a half-court.
We play until it is pitch dark. After the game, my friend drives me home soaking wet with sweat.
At 40 years old, my son is dribbling me on the basketball court. I have no chance with him. He is faster and has more stamina.
