It’s 1989. Televisions are becoming common in Ghana. Our next-door neighbour has one.
My brother comes home to tell me they are showing a movie. We quickly run to the house. The living room is full of people. So we are asked to watch the movie through the outside window from the back of the house.
I am sitting behind a window watching a Kung fu movie on a 13-inch Black and White Television. I am in heaven. I can’t hear the sound. I am still in heaven.
